来 autumn, the season of pest control. We employ a potent insecticide at a concentration of 1:4000 to create a fine mist that envelops the bees' bodies. Alternatively, we utilize paper-like smoke from Smoke No. 2 to repel these unwanted visitors. For smaller groups, we use 1.5 sheets; for standard boxes, one sheet suffices; and for successor boxes, just half a sheet will do. By igniting these papers within the hive and sealing its entrance for 15 minutes, we effectively rid our bees of parasites.

As winter approaches and flowers begin to fade, it is time to prioritize bee propagation. We carefully remove all honeycomb cells filled with sealed brood or empty cells from the hive and either discard them or store them in supplementary hives for future use. Gradually concentrating brood cells within the main hive ensures optimal conditions for wintering bees while maintaining a narrow passageway (around 9-10 millimeters) between adjacent cells in order to facilitate efficient ventilation and protect vital brood during this critical period of their development.

Please note that under no circumstances should new honeycomb structures be constructed nor should any additional space be allocated within the hive during this crucial phase aimed at nurturing robust colonies capable of weathering harsh winters ahead.
