苏州两棵香樟树神秘“烫死”案：15公分白蜡树价格如何？反复提问背后，是对生命脆弱的深刻警示。香樟，常绿大乔木，以其高达30米、直径可达3米的雄伟姿态，被誉为优良的绿化树、行道树及庭荫树。然而，半个月内，这两棵门口的香樟-tree叶逐渐枯黄落尽，市民刘先生惊讶发现地面异常烫手。他研究了半天，但找不到原因，只能求助于外界。

刘先生住在养育巷，每天窗外就是马路和店面的风景，但他从未注意到这两棵香樟-tree leaves是如此迅速地变成枯黄，他的心疼不已。奇怪的是，这条路上的其他香樟-tree leaves都正常，而他的两个邻居却无一幸免。

经过周围人士的一番询问，他们发现地面确实温度偏高。这让刘先生担忧，不仅因为这可能会影响周围植物，还因为他知道，如果这种情况持续下去，那些被烤焦的地面就无法再生长了。

昨天下午2点多，记者来到了这个地点，在丰乐宫对面的非机动车道上找到了一片空旷的地方。在那里，一排两层楼高的香樟-tree stands were all that remained of what once was a lush and vibrant landscape. The trees were almost completely bare, their branches stretching towards the sky like skeletal fingers.

"Here's where the problem is," said Zhang, a nearby shop owner. "The ground here is very hot. These trees are dead."

Zhang explained that about half a month ago, the non-motorized vehicle lane had suddenly buckled and become hot to the touch. Whenever it rained, steam would come out of the manholes in this area.

When reporter tried to feel the ground with his hand, he found that it was much hotter near these two dead trees than anywhere else around them. The hottest spot was right next to one of them - just above where they had been planted.

"I don't know what could be causing this," Liu said worriedly as he looked at his dying plants. "I hope someone can figure out how to fix it before they're gone forever."

As for why these two trees died while others on this street did not, no one knows yet - but one possibility is that there may have been some kind of pipe break underfoot which caused heat from below ground level up into these particular spots on either side of road at least 10 feet away from any other source (including other tree roots). This seems plausible since when I touched both sides with my hand and held onto each for about 5 seconds without noticing anything unusual happening except getting more sweaty; but then after holding onto left side long enough so as if touching water pipe maybe? Then let go & felt my hands quickly dry off because air cooling down faster than expected due possibly being close proximity another source warmth somewhere else nearby!
